Small Groups

Our small groups give tween, teens and young adults a supportive, engaging space to practice communication skills with peers. Sessions focus on real-life situations such as starting and maintaining conversations, building friendships, speaking up, solving problems, and navigating school, work, college, and community settings. Through guided practice, role-play, and meaningful peer interaction, participants build confidence and learn skills they can use beyond the therapy room.

Evaluations

Evaluations help identify a tween, teen or young adult’s communication strengths, challenges, and areas where additional support may be helpful. Each evaluation is personalized and may explore expressive and receptive langauge, social communication, vocabulary, listening comprehension, word- finding, self-advocacy, and other skills that affect success at school, work, college, and in everyday life.

Results are used to develop meaningful recommendations and guide an individualized plan for treatment.
