About

Empowering Independence Through Effective Communication

About Teen SLP

Dedicated to fostering effective communication, confidence, and independence

The Teen SLP was created to provide teens and young adults with communication support that feels relevant, practical, and connected to real life. We believe therapy should go beyond worksheets and rehearsed responses. Our sessions are designed around the situations our clients encounter every day—from joining a conversation and making plans with friends to speaking up for themselves, managing responsibilities, navigating college, and communicating confidently at work.

Our approach is strengths-based, engaging, and individualized. We meet each client where they are, involve them in setting meaningful goals, and create opportunities to practice skills in ways that feel natural and useful. Through individual therapy, small groups, real-world coaching, and innovative tools such as virtual reality and artificial intelligence, clients can build skills in a supportive environment and learn how to carry them into their everyday lives.

At The Teen SLP, our goal is not to change who someone is. It is to help each person better understand their own communication style, advocate for what they need, connect with others, and move toward greater confidence and independence.
